The mix itself is a revolt against the super smooth/clean noise free selections that permeate our everyday,far from conceited but also nestled in the rebel DIY aesthetic-the lone wolf contignent are still looking for kicks and finding them in beer,bikes,women & grease as we all know freedom rides an iron horse!
Lurking under the sweaty leather waistcoats you will find and hear an amphetamine fuelled brew of late 70’s hard rock,80’s crust punk mutations within the nonchalant sneering saliva dripped filth of hard angst ridden 60’s Psych punk.Look back in anger,turn up the volume and if your heart still beats then mines a double.
If you are a fan of Flipper, MC5,The Butthole Surfers, Crime, Wipers, RTX, Incredible Hog,The Scorpions RAK 45’s ,The Deram label-obscure freak rock & late hard rock then this will appeal to you-however none of these bands are on this mix-but their flag bearing headband wearing tattooed brothers and sisters might be! All of this is true but some of it is lies.
